Lauren Bishop, Chief Services Officer
The Chief Services Officer (CSO) develops processes, strategies and tools, both internally and externally, for producing maximum value both to the stillbirthday doula team and to those who utilize its services. Because of the fluidity of our human resources team, the CSO is an umbrella designation that may integrate additional roles that aren’t at the time delegated or yet successfully filled. These can include: Director of Volunteer Services (“Lead of Leads”), SBD Doulas Regional Director, and Speaker Trainer, all voluntary roles.
The Director of Volunteer Services “Lead of Leads” supervises selected individuals who are SBD alumni and who agree to help the students establish dialogue with one another and become familiar with the session and the training contents. The establishment of a Lead team structure that can be evaluated, duplicated, monitored and revised as needed has been an arduous commitment and Lauren’s volunteerism to the journey of this project has literally transformed the overall learning environment, satisfaction of students, and the satisfaction of SBD doulas eager to extend a loving encouragement toward upcoming SBD doulas.
Lauren Bishop is also the founder of Ethan’s Hope Doula Services, serving families globally from Georgia, with a special emphasis in serving families who are facing the diagnosis of Anencephaly.
NSE Approval
For non-stillbirthday-endorsed (NSE) events, gatherings, cross-promotion, or similar opportunities to be shared in the SBD doula session, state or global audiences, the CSO reviews your promotional material and assigns it a designation with a corresponding approval or not. This ensures that stillbirthday endorsed speakers and representatives are having the greatest access to share their events, while allowing all others to lean into the stillbirthday platform to bring awareness to what may be external events. If stillbirthday didn’t make it, but you want to share it, and, it includes any manner of for-profit (including but not limited to suggested offerings), it’s probably an NSE. And it’s either not allowed within the stillbirthday community and will be entirely removed, or approved, for a token acknowledgement that it is advertising within our community. Think of the Coca-Cola man drinking a Pepsi in uniform. Just, don’t do it.
NSE Basic Approval Purchase – this button will automatically redirect you to complete a $10 payment to Ethan’s Hope, for a single time NSE sharing in one class, state or SBD global audience. Once your payment is received, feel free to share your single-time NSE approved event, and within 24 hours any editing, revising or retracting that needs to be done will be provided by our CSO.
