Are you interested in hosting a stillbirthday exclusive event?
This can be such a wonderful time to bring stillbirthday and our valuable messages of hope and healing into your community, while taking the burden of presenting off of your shoulders.
Our presenters are assigned specialty designations. This means that you’ll bring the very best of the message.
As a host, you get to attend the event for free. Once a minimum of 15 attendees is met, securing your event, the speaker will ensure that you are included in all necessary, quantity specific items, including the best stillbirthday text for your event.
In addition, as host, you’ll receive complimentary registration into our full doula certification program. If you are already a certified stillbirthday doula, you can gift this placement to someone you feel can help grow your community awareness and support.
The work of the host though, is so important.
You’ll be responsible for securing the location venue, which may include cost. There are very affordable locations to pursue though, and we outline those in our exclusive hosting materials you’ll be able to access once you register your interest as a host below.
To help lower cost and because you are local to the event venue, your speaker may present you with an “Invitation to Sponsorship” flyer that you might invite local relevant organizations or businesses to be part of, offering them advertising in exchange for lowered venue cost. In an “Invitation to Sponsorship”, the sponsoring business needs to pay the venue site directly, either in part or in full. No sponsorship money is to be received by the speaker. The only fees received by the speaker are the individual registrations to attend the event. No requests for donation are endorsed by stillbirthday.
You may need to receive items from the speaker via shipment, and you’ll need to provide a secure location for such items to be received.
You are asked to help provide minimal refreshments, including bottled water and a simple snack such as a fruit tray. You are not be responsible for meals, transportation, or overnight lodging. If those things are established between you and the speaker, those are outside of the official hosting responsibility.
You can help ensure your speaker receives appropriate feedback by helping to present access to our feedback form for attendees.
In promoting your event, your speaker will include your name, your organization name, logo, and contact information on all promotional material, including before, during, and after the event.
